Kickboxing for Homeless Animals
Club
KO Kickboxing and Cornerstone
Pets are conducting a Thanksgiving fundraiser for
Companion Animal Placement of Hoboken, NJ.
Companion
Animal Placement (CAP) is a non-profit organization
committed to saving the lives of animals while educating
the public about the spaying and neutering of all pets.
CAP is run 100% by volunteers and was founded in 1989
for the sole purpose of finding homes for unwanted animals.
They do not have a shelter for animals but take animals
that come from shelters, abusive homes, the streets
or once happy homes. Pets are then fostered, primarily
in volunteer homes and cared for medically and lovingly
until forever homes are found.
There are several opportunities and ways to contribute:
Sunday, November 11th, CAP will be holding an adoption
event from 12-3pm at the Hoboken
Animal Hospital, 640
Washington Street in Hoboken. Donations will be
collected during the event and if you are open to adopting
a dog or cat, come down and see some of the numerous
animals that are looking for homes.
Sunday, November 18th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, at Club
KO at 900 Madison Street in Hoboken, everyone is invited
to attend a FREE kickboxing class and will be given
the opportunity at that time to make donations in support
of Companion Animal Placement.
At any time during November, you can drop off checks
or cash at Cornerstone
Pets at 105
– 9th Street, between Bloomfield and Washington
Streets in Hoboken, or at any of the two Club KO Hoboken
locations at 900 Madison Street or 127 Grand St. Or,
make a donation on-line through Pay Pal here.
All funds collected will be donated directly to Companion Animal Placement and are tax deductible.
